The Inner Peace Foundation is a registered charity serving Harrow and online. Our legal name is The Inner Peace Foundation and our registered charity number is 1216591.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

• Name, email address, phone number and message details when you contact us.
• Volunteer application details such as areas of interest, availability and relevant experience.
• Partnership enquiry details such as organisation name, role, location, audience group and programme interest.
• Event or Free Yoga registration details, including WhatsApp number where you choose to register through WhatsApp-related services.
• Donation-related information handled by our external donation provider, such as PayPal. We do not collect full payment card details on this website.
• Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, referral source and device information where essential cookies, security tools or analytics are enabled.

Please do not send sensitive health, medical, financial or highly personal information through website forms. If we need additional information for a specific activity, we will explain why at the time.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

• Respond to enquiries and keep a record of correspondence.
• Manage event interest, Free Yoga registrations, volunteering and partnership conversations.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers where needed to operate the charity and website, including email, hosting, payment, event registration, analytics, form and anti-spam providers.

Some links or features may take you to external services, including PayPal, Free Yoga registration or profile services, social media platforms, the Fundraising Regulator validation page or embedded third-party tools. Those services operate their own privacy policies and terms.

Website analytics and campaign measurement

We may use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website and whether Google Ad Grants campaigns are helping people find relevant charity information. Optional analytics and marketing tags are designed to load only after you accept the relevant cookie choice.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, message text, medical details, wellbeing details, vulnerability details or children's details to Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 or Google Ads. Website events are limited to non-personal actions such as donation clicks, form success events and contact-link clicks.

You can reject optional cookies in the cookie banner. You can also reset your choice later using the Cookie settings button in the footer.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, including responding to enquiries, managing volunteering or partnerships, maintaining donation and charity records, and meeting legal or safeguarding obligations.

General enquiries are normally kept only while they are active and for a reasonable follow-up period. Donation and financial records may need to be kept for longer to meet accounting and charity law requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information unless it is necessary and requested.
